Dan Krambeer Creations

Dan Krambeer is a self-taught artist from Northeast Iowa who works in wood burning, woodworking, and acrylic painting. He began creating art more seriously about three or four years ago, though his love of making things started much earlier. In fact, he still owns the same wood burning tool he used as a kid in junior high. Raised on a farm, Dan draws inspiration from the natural world around him, often painting outdoor scenes, animals, and seasonal or spiritual themes that reflect his deep appreciation for nature and his faith.

Dan’s favorite part of creating art is the process itself. He enjoys learning new skills, getting better over time, and losing himself in the work. Pieces usually take him anywhere from two to six hours, though he’s in no hurry. With time on his side, Dan works at his own pace, creating each piece with care and patience.

Now 57, Dan lives an active, social life filled with movies, friends, family, and time spent outdoors whenever he can. His art is an extension of the joy he finds in everyday moments and the memories of growing up in rural Iowa. He’s a fan of Bob Ross and likes to say “Be patient, keep your hands dirty. No mistakes, only happy accidents.”
